Thank you from Operation Santa Claus

We are pleased to announce that Operation Santa Claus - the annual fundraising campaign jointly organized by the SCMP and RTHK Radio 3 - achieved a tremendous result this year by raising more than HK$11 million! More importantly, the campaign helped to raise awareness of this year's priority themes: Children & Young people, Community, Medical Issues and Mental & Physical Disabilities. Your contributions will help make the special projects of the 13 beneficiary charities come true! A portion of the funds also will be used to help over 2,400 victims of the Sichuan Earthquake to rebuild their homes.

SCMP and RTHK sincerely thank and recognise all who contributed. We also want to thank those who made anonymous donations through HSBC branches, ATMs and donation boxes.
