Co-organised by the South China Morning Post and the public broadcaster Radio Television Hong Kong since 1988, the charity drive has gone from strength to strength. It ties with the festive season characterised by love, joy and, above all, the spirit of giving that we too often take for granted nowadays. Thanks to the efforts of those involved, a record-breaking HK$21.3 million was raised last year for a variety of meaningful programmes.
